Satisfied My Goal This Year

Remember a little while back? I wanted a tablet?

Well I have one now... so therefore, I need nothing else this year.

It was a wallet breaker as well- but since I haven't used it yet, I have no idea as to how it works and all that. So as to how I'm going to rate it... uh, not yet. But possibly in the nearing future. I already have a drawing ready to be scanned.

It's a black Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet which I bought in Festival Mall Alabang, Philippines.

So yeah, I'll keep you'll updated on this brand new development to... uh... my arsenal of... stuff.

My Goals #1 [Languages]

As I will make plainly obvious in this post, I have goals. Minor goals that merely involve learning a language from an Asian country. Yeah, you probably wont see me speaking a non-Asian language any time soon.


The languages I want to learn are:
[x] Japanese - I'm actually getting better at it.
[x] Korean- I haven't started on it yet.

I even added a little statistics badge for my Japanese-learning progress! Since I'm quite busy with school I don't have much time to contribute to learning the language. But I will try.

** Amadeo is really the user name I used for signing up there. Why? Because I fell in love with the name. Ha ha.

Especially with the kanji for Japanese.

My First Club Day- Animaniacs

My Club this year is Animaniacs- a club for Macromedia flash enthusiasts apparently.

From my three years of joining school activites such as this, this is the first time I have joined his club. I used to be part of the Blogger's Society and... honestly, I am happy to have left after two years of blogging.

After all, my interests are more on the arts and not on the mind-draining and mentally-crippling blandness that Blogger's has to offer.

But we'll see about that...

... this is my first day in Animaniacs and I feel a bit ignored my the club moderator. And to think that he was one of my favorite teachers last year! Anyway, he said we were going to make Flash Games -that's if I heard him right since I wasn't truly listening.

Oh well.

What I want this year...

The only things I am looking for this year are two things. A Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet and Corel Painter 10 [commonly known as Corel Painter X].

It reminds me of a Nintendo DS sometimes. And besides, I like the look of the tablet... so, curvy. And that Stylus has an eraser- that scores points.

As for Corel Painter X the tutorial videos I found on YouTube look amazing- check it out. Especially the ones when the artist draws anime characters.

Manga Studio EX was something I was considering but I decided against it because I figured I would be wanting to draw and color much more than to make 'Manga' the common, gray-scale way.

Besides, a fully colored manga sounds much more appealing.

So I'm hoping they sell this all in the Philippines- if not, then I'll have to go hunt for it in the U.S. or some other foreign country.

Well, I'll be keeping my eyes open for those two amazing products for now.

Jin Won's Birthday- 생일축하합니다 !

Mark it on you're Calendars people- July 9! This is the most wonderful day of the year, especially for me. It's the day a certain Korean was born! And this is also the day in which I get to hit Jin Won- go figure.

This year, I gave him chopsticks and a chocolate dough nut.

And I wish that he'd
get older much
faster!
That way,
he'd get bald
much sooner!

Someday he will remember that my birthday also happens once a year... if he doesn't, well... I can spork him.
